British manufacturer Aston Martin unveiled today what is arguably its most important model, the 2019 Aston Martin Vantage.
This latest generation of Aston Martin’s entry-level model may not be as exclusive as the recent DB11, but it accounts for a much larger percentage of the brand’s revenues.
The Aston Martin DB11 will be powered out of the gate by a 2.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 503 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque that will allow it to reach 100 km/h in less than 4.0 seconds. Top speed is announced at 314 km/h. As for the V12 offered on the current-generation Vantage, we’ll have to wait to find out if it will be offered on the next Vantage.
On the other hand, no need to worry about the manual gearbox. It will be back in the 2019 Vantage and will have one more gear for a total of 7 speeds. An 8-speed automatic transmission will also be offered.
