After nearly 6 years on the market, the Hyundai Veloster coupe is ready to ride off into the sunset. Unique on the market, the Veloster offers a third door on the side for easier access to the rear seats.
This third door and the asymmetrical design it creates were not enough, however, to allow the Veloster to settle comfortably into the North American market. The announcement that Hyundai will discontinue production likely means that attractive incentives and financing rates will be offered on remaining 2017 Veloster models in the upcoming weeks.
Hyundai intends to replace the Veloster with a much sportier model, although very little has been confirmed about this this upcoming replacement. Stay tuned.
