The National Insurance Crime Bureau, or NICB just released its annual list of the top 10 stolen vehicles in the United States, and for a fourth year in a row the Honda Accord and the Honda Civic find themselves at the top of the list.
Here are the top 10 vehicles that were the most stolen last year in the U.S.
Honda Accord
Stolen vehicles: 50,427
Honda Civic
Stolen vehicles: 49,547
Ford F Series
Stolen vehicles: 32,721
Chevrolet Silverado
Stolen vehicles: 31,238
Toyota Camry
Stolen vehicles: 16,732
Nissan Altima
Stolen vehicles: 12,221
Ram Trucks
Stolen vehicles: 12 128
Toyota Corolla
Stolen vehicles: 11,989
Chevrolet Impala
Stolen vehicles: 9,749
Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee
Stolen vehicles: 9,245
The NICB also listed the model-years that were most popular with thieves. Aside from the Camry (2016), the Corolla (2015) and the Altima (2015), the most stolen model-year of the other vehicles on the list were before 2008. The 1997 Honda Accord and 1998 Honda Civic were the most stolen model-years for the two models at the top of the list.
