The Civic Type R didn’t just break the old record that belonged to the Golf GTi Clubsport S, it pulverized it. With a time of 7:43.8, the Type R beat the Volkswagen by almost 5 seconds. The Civic’s is even faster than the all-wheel-driven Focus RS.
