The development of the Lucid Air, the 1000-horsepower electric car unveiled last December, seems to well underway. Indeed, California-based Lucid Motors recently released two videos showing its all-new eco-friendly performance sedan out and about in various environments.
After showing the Air for the first time without camouflage driving around the streets of San Francisco, Lucid Motors released a second video showcasing the new electric car getting sideways on a snowy road in Minnesota.
Although the video of the Lucid Air drifting along in the snow is more marketing than informational, it does confirm that the car will be very powerful. According to the manufacturer, it will reach 100 km/h in less than 3.0 seconds while its battery allows for approximately 640 kilometers of range.
US consumers can already give a deposit to reserve their Lucid Air, and deliveries are expected to begin in 2019.
